Thanks to everyone who came out to our special Jupiter Hammon Project tours at Joseph Lloyd Manor! We enjoyed sharing the house and its history after more than two years of it being closed! Missed out on the tour? Don't worry! We'll be hosting additional tours this fall. Be sure to follow along for future announcements!

We're excited to announce that Preservation Long Island's Art of Edward Lange Project, launched last summer with the arrival of curatorial fellow, Peter Fedoryk, has been extended! After launching the interactive Art of Edward Lange website this spring (featuring over 100 images of the artist's Long Island views), we are now turning our attentions toward the creation of a new scholarly publication focused on Lange's work on Long Island. Peter recently spent the day getting a jump-start on research in the magnificent Rose Reading Room at the New York Public Library's Stephen A. Schwarzman Building. 🏛
