The East Hampton Trails and Preservation Society and the Brooks-Park Arts and Nature Center have partnered to provide an opportunity for hikers to visit the late abstract expressionists’ property and one of our 2021 Endangered Historic Places.

Preservation Director, Sarah Kautz, will discuss the life of author Jupiter Hammon who lived as an enslaved person at Lloyd Manor and whose work was the first to be published by an African American born in North America. FREE.
