Join Huntington Town Historian Robert C. Hughes for a conversation about Huntington’s varied museums and historic sites.

Join us on May 15th for a FREE video conference class to explore the history of soap making and learn how to make traditional gardener’s hand scrub with salts, essential oils, and fresh herbs such as Basil, Rosemary, and Lavender.

Visit the websites of participating organizations between May 1st & May 14th to watch a short video from their museums and then join the challenge by answering the official online question form. A drawing from all entries will be held on May 15th. The winner will receive a dozen rolls of toilet paper and a collection of local history books!

On February 5th, Preservation Director, Sarah Kautz, will explain how residents can help protect historic places in their communities, and how historic preservation works-or does not work-in different situations.

Join curator Lauren Brincat on November 16th for a special guided tour of our current exhibition that explores why misconceptions about early American life refuse to disappear from our collective understanding of the past.
