This year, by far, has been one of the most difficult years in recent memory and we sympathize with those individuals and families that have experienced hardship or other distress. Like many cultural institutions, Preservation Long Island experienced significant revenue loss as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Unlike them, we did not reach out for emergency support in the midst of the statewide shut down during the spring. This annual appeal is our first solicitation for funding from our supporters during these challenging times and we need your help now more than ever to continue our mission-based work.

Support Preservation Long Island’s Annual Appeal

Programs like the Jupiter Hammon Project, our exhibitions, curatorial and archival activities as well as our preservation advisory services, public events, and virtual programming are making a difference in the way people understand their place in history. Your donation will help us to carry this work forward as we simultaneously take care of our four historic properties. Contributions to the Annual Appeal are separate from membership dues and are fully tax-deductible.

Thank you and stay safe!
