Many thanks to the donors, friends, and colleagues who made An Evening at Box Hill a success! This sold-out fundraiser supports Preservation Long Island’s mission to celebrate and preserve Long Island’s diverse cultural and architectural heritage though advocacy, education, and the stewardship of historic sites and collections. We extend a special thank you to the event committee: Board of Trustees President Michelle Gokey, Trustee Pia Crary, Stephanie Clark, and Jocelyn Moodie, and also to our hosts Daniel and Betsy White, and to Samuel and Elizabeth White for sharing their expertise.

Funds raised will support capital improvements at Joseph Lloyd Manor (1767), one of our three historic house museums. These improvements will directly impact our ability to expand our educational initiatives, particularly The Jupiter Hammon Project, and will ensure the responsible preservation of our most celebrated site.
