May is National Preservation Month!

The designation began as National Preservation Week in 1973. The National Trust for Historic Preservation extended the celebration to the entire month of May in 2005. The theme for Preservation Month 2022 is “People Saving Places” — to acknowledge the historic place-savers who pour their time, energy, and resources into protecting places they care about, often without recognition.
