Our latest book, Promoting Long Island: The Art of Edward Lange, 1870–1889, is featured in the Winter 2024-25 issue of The Magazine of the Decorative Arts, a publication of the Decorative Arts Trust.
We are delighted to share an article by Lauren Brincat, Preservation Long Island’s Chief Curator and Director of Collections, and former curatorial fellow Peter Fedoryk, which explores the life, work, and career of Edward Lange—one of Long Island’s most prolific late nineteenth-century artists. Lange is the subject of our new hardcover publication, released in September 2024. Edited and authored by Brincat and Fedoryk, the book features essays by Jennifer L. Anderson, Thomas Busciglio-Ritter, and Joshua M. Ruff.
