ADVOCACY UPDATE!

In a Public Opinion Poll on October 21, 2023, Garden City Residents voted to preserve St. Paul’s main building. 

The Village of Garden City New York reported that 4,339 residents participated in the St. Paul’s Public Opinion Poll. 2,635 voters chose Option 1 (partial or full preservation) and 1,704 chose Option 2 (demolition).

One of the most substantial historic buildings on Long Island, St. Paul’s School was placed on our 2010 Endangered Historic Places list. The site is also on the NY State Parks & Historic Sites and National Register of Historic Places – NPS listings.
