Join us for an exclusive behind-the-scenes Preservation in Progress tour of the John & Alice Coltrane Home, where the legendary jazz saxophonist John Coltrane lived with his family from 1964 until his passing in 1967. It was within these walls that he composed A Love Supreme, widely regarded as his magnum opus. After his death, Alice Coltrane recorded five innovative albums in the basement recording studio before she and her four young children moved to California in 1972. The museum is slated to open in 2026.
Guided by Huntington Town Historian Robert Hughes and Coltrane Home Founder Steve Fulgoni, this special tour will explore the restoration progress of the home and offer insights into future plans for its transformation into a museum celebrating the Coltranes’ life and legacy.
