Preservation Long Island and North Shore Quilting and Fiber Arts invite you to create history!

As we anticipate our hosting of the Smithsonian Institution traveling exhibition, Voices and Votes: Democracy in America, Preservation Long Island and North Shore Quilting and Fiber Art invite you to be part of a unique and collaborative experience—the creation of our very own community quilt! This program is inspired by a historic quilt in Preservation Long Island’s collection created and signed by community members during the 1860s. Once complete, this new quilt will be featured in the upcoming exhibition and will become a part of Preservation Long Island’s collection of art and artifacts.
