Hosted by Preservation Long Island in partnership with the Town of Huntington’s Historic Partnership (THHP), this Zoom presentation welcomes Robert C. Hughes ​to speak on local Huntington History. For over a century, Huntington has been home to museums that preserve and help us understand our past. From a modest working man’s home to a Gold Coast mansion, Huntington offers visitors the opportunity to explore a wide range of our history. SPEAKER: Robert C. Hughes, Esq.

Robert C. Hughes serves as Huntington Townships’ local historian. He is the published author of Cold Spring Harbor (Arcadia Publishing 2014) and
Northport (Arcadia Publishing 2018). He serves as a Leadership Huntington Board Member and Workshop Facilitator, as well as, a board member for the Cold Spring Harbor Public Library, Friends of the Coltrane Home in Dix Hills, Eagle Dock Foundation, Inc., and the Huntington Rural Cemetery Association. His expertise has established him as the paramount authority of local history as well as an invaluable member of the Huntington community.
